This Chawan was hand modeled from white stoneware clay. It was first bisque fired to 1000 degrees centigrade. The tenmoku glaze was mixed from formula and with raw ingredients. After being glazed, the Chawan was fired in a small gas kiln to 1300 degrees centigrade. `The tenmoku glaze is thick, shiny and black. It breaks to rust brown over the texture of the hand modeled bowl.

Notice: Due to the transmutation in kiln, the pattern on each teaware will be slightly different. Therefore, every Jian zhan Tenmoku is unique and special, but it will be remained generally the same.

We do not refund shipping costs for customers that reject their packages upon arrival for failure to pay duty fees.
Customs clearance procedures may be required; under these circumstances, delays may occur, which will affect our original delivery time. Delivery time of orders can be extended by delivery service for an indefinite period for reasons beyond our control.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & DAMAGES
Q - Can I make changes to or cancel my order?
At Art Tea Cup, we work hard to ship your order as quickly as possible. Once your payment is accepted and your order is confirmed, it immediately enters our fulfillment process.
This means there is only a very short window before your order is picked, packed, and shipped.
If you need to cancel, please email us at artteacup@outlook.com as soon as possible with the subject line “Cancellation”, including your full name and order number. We’ll let you know what we can do.
Q - What is your return & exchange policy?
We want you to enjoy every purchase from Art Tea Cup. If something doesn’t work out, you can request a return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order.
To start the process, please email us at artteacup@outlook.com with your order number, the product name(s), and the reason for the return or exchange.

Q - What if my item arrives damaged?
We’re so sorry! Please email artteacup@outlook.com with your order number, full name, and a clear photo of the damaged item. Our support team will arrange a replacement or refund.
Q - How long will my refund take?
Refunds are typically completed within 2–4 weeks. This includes:

Q - What if my package is lost?
If shipping insurance was purchased at checkout and your order has not been delivered within 60 days, it will be considered lost. Please contact us within 30 days of this period, and we will gladly issue a full refund or resend your order.

Each Tenmokus piece is lovingly created by hand, ensuring that each piece is truly unique.
ELEGENT & GORGEOUS JIAN ZHAN TENMOKU TEACUP
What makes these teaware so special is both their unique shape and their specialist glaze. Juanzhan Tenmoku tea cups are bowl shaped, but with a wide brim that allows the tea to stew and cool perfectly. They are glazed at a very high heat using a glaze with a high iron content, which creates a blackened and distinctively beautiful pattern that is unique only to Jianzhan Tenmoku pottery.
