How to Use Tenmoku Teapot and Teacup Set

I am a coffee drinker, but recently I have been interested in tea. So I bought this Tenmoku tea pot and tea cup set. It came with instructions on how to use them.

The box is small, but it includes all of your pieces and more! I am going to describe how to use this.

A teapot and tea cup set is used to prepare and serve tea. It includes a teapot that holds up to one liter of water, an infuser (usually made of stainless steel or plastic), a lid with an opening for adding hot water from the kettle or other heat source, and either two or four cups depending on its size (two for larger sets). The infuser can be removed when making tea in order to pour the water through it into cups. Some pot lids have swing handles that allow you to pour out liquid without removing them entirely; others have spouts where they meet their handles instead so they can be completely removed when pouring without spilling any hot liquid onto hands or countertops.

First, you need a kettle to boil water

Second,  put tea bags or tea leaves into the pot and pour in hot water

You can enjoy seeing the tea color through the glass of Tenmoku teapot. If you want to drink light taste, it is good to pour out within one minute.

When pouring the water into the pot, you can enjoy seeing tea color through the glass. This way of enjoying your tea is called "Ji-sui" in Japanese.

It is important to pour hot water slowly and gently over a small amount of tea leaves to make sure that they are fully wetted and release fragrance best.

Tenmoku tea pot is made by ceramic. It's good at insulation and keeping heat. The taste of tea will be changed by the temperature and humidity, so when you brew tea, you need to control the temperature and humidity for your own taste.

You can enjoy the color of tea as well as its aroma and flavor by pouring out within one minute after brewing it in Tenmoku tea pot. Afterward, if you pour out again after two minutes or so, the liquid becomes weakly sweet which is called "Kamairi", which is suitable for some people who like light drinkings.

Three minutes later, you can feel stronger taste. Longer time will make more bitter taste.

Tea is better than coffee

  • Tea is healthier than coffee.

  • Tea tastes better than coffee.

  • Tea is more relaxing than coffee.

  • Tea is cheaper than coffee.

  • It's easier to prepare tea than it is to make coffee (you just pour hot water over the leaves).

If you have time to drink tea, I hope this article can help you. In addition, if you want to do other things such as cooking or studying at home, the Tenmoku Tea Set is also suitable for those activities!
